Entovate and Grow Green Technologies joined to develop an isothermal heater for loop-mediated isothermal amplification. The heater/view heats the reaction to 65 °C (adj) for 15 to 60 minutes. Every 5 minutes (adj), a snapshot is taken to provide a time-series record of the reaction. The snapshot is sent to the cloud. In addition, the reaction can be viewed by the naked eye as it progresses.
The LAMP heater/view is portable for use in the lab or field. It operates on 12 VDC, 1.8 amps. This device can be used with any LAMP assay to detect a variety of pathogens, such as West Nile Virus (WNV), Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE), the malaria parasites, Dengue and most arboviruses.
