Entovates’ mosquito mover is used to transfer mosquitoes from one colony to another area, often for experimentation purposes. Our mover has several innovative features. It can suck mosquitoes into a collection or a poot tube as well as blow them out of the collection jar or tube into another container. The amount of suction, the airflow rate, is adjustable. This can prevent damage to the insect specimens. Either a large 1/2 ID tube or a smaller !/4 tube can be used, and both are provided. An end cap for the tubes is conveniently stored in the base of the mover. The extra-long base allows the mover to be set down without a concern for it tipping.
