About Entovate

Entovate builds advanced tools that make mosquito surveillance and virus detection more effective, efficient, and field‑ready. We design specialty traps and smart devices that help mosquito control programs and researchers capture live mosquitoes, protect specimen quality, and generate better data for decision‑making.

Co‑founded by Dr. Nathan Burkett-Cadena  of the Univ. of Florida and Terry DeBriere, Entovate blends deep scientific expertise in mosquito biology and vector‑borne disease with hands‑on engineering and product development. This combination lets us move quickly from research insights to practical equipment that works in real‑world conditions.

Terry brings degrees in aerospace engineering and psychology from Pittsburg State University and the University of Kansas, along with eight years of experience working closely with entomologists and virologists to design and refine specialty mosquito traps and field devices. That background drives Entovate’s focus on reliability, usability, and deployable hardware that stands up to demanding field environments.

Dr. Burkett‑Cadena contributes extensive experience in medical entomology and mosquito‑borne disease ecology, ensuring that every Entovate product is aligned with current surveillance needs, biologically informed, and relevant to how professionals actually monitor vectors and pathogens in the field.

At Entovate, our mission is simple: turn cutting-edge mosquito surveillance and virus detection into practical tools that frontline teams can depend on.  Whether you are running a mosquito control program, managing surveillance operations, or conducting research, Entovate is here to help you capture better data, faster, with technology built for the field—as well as the lab.
